Beyond the Code
Much of what appears on this site highlights leadership roles, academic projects, and professional experiences. Behind all of that, though, are the passions that have shaped me at a deeper level. When I care about something, I don't just participate in it—I devote myself to it until it becomes part of who I am.
Cricket
Cricket has been one of the most constant forces in my life. I began playing in middle school with the Johns Creek Women's team, where I learned the fundamentals of the game and what it meant to belong on a team.
In tenth grade, I joined the Northview Cricket Club, a largely male-dominated space with only one other girl besides me. Walking onto that field pushed me to grow in confidence and resilience, teaching me how to earn respect through consistency and effort.
By eleventh grade, I moved on to play for the Georgia High School Girls Team, competing at a broader level and deepening both my skill and self-belief. Cricket didn't just teach me a sport—it shaped my patience, discipline, and mental endurance.

Music
Music is where my dedication becomes most personal. I taught myself guitar and keyboard, and ever since I was young, I've been writing music and singing—often quietly, because I was shy. Even then, the passion never faded.
Music became something I returned to over and over, a space where expression felt honest and instinctive. I collect CDs and love experiencing albums as complete stories, appreciating how individual pieces come together to form something meaningful.
Dance
Dance reflects that same pattern of devotion. I taught myself how to dance, practicing alone long before I ever performed publicly. Over time, that commitment led me to become Vice President of Northview's Dance Club, helping build a team where creativity and discipline coexist.
What began as a solitary passion grew into a shared experience, reinforcing how deeply I invest in the things I love.

These passions are engraved in me because I allow them to be. They mirror how I approach computer science—with curiosity, persistence, and care. Just as cricket shaped my resilience and music shaped my creativity, computer science has become part of my identity through the time and intention I've devoted to it. Behind the scenes, everything I pursue follows the same pattern: when something matters to me, it becomes part of who I am—and that is how I plan to continue growing through both my studies and my future work.
